The only thing the article got right was that JT hasn't had an All Star worthy season up to this point. The rest of it was verbal diarrhea to a large degree.

Scary that they're willing to throw a season away just to make changes (assuming that they do actually make changes in the offseason). No matter what changes they end up making, it doesn't excuse them for giving up on a season 20 games in.

Cappy said he needs better goaltending, Greiss gives up 4 regulation goals in 3 games, and they still lose to all 3 bad teams. You'd think at some point somebody (Garth or Ledecky) would just lose it and fire him. Not sure what more it would take.

Umm Zippy? In 3 games he let in 5 total goals. That would be 1.66 goals against with .944 save percentage. Methinks goaltending, once again, is not the issue. However, your esteemed power play demolished those 3 teams by going a whopping 1 for 8 for an awesome average of .125. I'm no math or analytics major, but I think I can see where there is a deficiency. *Psssst, Zippy, it's not goaltending.* YOU (frank)ING MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please tell me he did not mention the goaltending last night? Garth is never firing Cappy because another coach might tell him to frank off if he tries to take control of lineup decisions. This is a new low. Management is involved with the lineup. This is probably Garth's system as well.

Saw some of the game but I will have to say this is the first time in a long time that I dont care if I watch the game or not. This team is so bad I dont even want my son watching it. I mean the coach is clueless GM is clueless half the players are clueless.

I just dont get this how are people even paying for tickets to watch this team?? I would not spend a dime on this time. I wasnt convinced last year and I am sure as hell not convinced this year. I knew this team was bad for a while. I knew that with Jack behind the bench they will never win even after last years miracle. This team bottom line is just not that good never was under Cappy. They were able to fool some people at times but the tru fans you can not fool all the time. This team was put together poor the system has not worked since day one. I would be happy if they just clean house get rid of everyone not named Tavares and start from scratch. I dont think they can be any worse and I dont think Tavares would mind.

This is what happens when you Bailey a star player. Even Gretzky's numbers would have been down with Bailey on his wing. The only player that wouldn't be effected would have been Gordie Howe because he would have punched the coach that tried to make him play with Bailey.

Agreed but isles management prob felt the team would progress after last year instead of regress. If you really look at it, its basically the same roster except a few new pieces that can provide what was lost. Now im not advocating that what they did is right, just saying that could have been the thought process & not thinking that there's a possible chance the team would be worse...
