Im actually routing for the opposition lately so when the Cats scored tonight I cheered and laughed. I never thought I would do it but the people running this team have pushed me to the breaking point.

Crappy hasn't spoken yet but I have to think you know what he will say

- nyisles7

I'm not rooting for the other teams, but I'm not even upset when the Isles lose. It's one thing to have a bad season, but it's Frustrating as frank when ownership and management just gives away a season.

What do the Cappy say?
- JohnScammo

I'll paraphrase but, he said the coaching staff gave them a structure that is creating chances but the players aren't going to the net and scoring.

He threw a new one on us D needs to activate more.

2nd period was our worst we played all year, some guys should have stayed in the room. Yeah Jack you!

- nyisles7

Yes we have not heard that one about the D before.

I heard that about guys should have stayed in the room. What is Jack going to do about? Probably sit Beau again.

I don't know. I'm not watching it again to get the exact quote but he said something to the affect of the coaching staff needs to make structural changes if they aren't getting chances but that isn't the case.

I just watched the post-game interview with Panthers coach, Rowe. He was asked about the challenges presented by trying to cover JT. His response tells you everything you need to know about Cappy.

Not an exact quote but close.... "I was trying to get Trocheck and Jokinen out against the Tavares line, but it wasn't too hard, because Capuano was trying for the same matchup."

The structure is just perfect. It's all the players fault. The Panthers were probably thinking how the franks did we lose to this team last year?

Cappy got outcoached by Rowe tonight. Not Babcock or Coach Q or Torts. Let that sink in.

The front office of the Cats also shows a level of professionalism that is sorely lacking with the Islanders. After the post-game, there's a show where the GM (also Rowe--he's the interim coach) and the PoHO are both interviewed (on tape), and they explain in detail their draft day strategy, their free agent strategy, etc. It isn't Garth showing his face once a year, and saying he's going to carry 3 goalies, gfy.
