Ryan would be MUCH cheaper to get out of OTT than Kane would be out of BUF.

As much as I can't stand him on other teams Bobby Ryan would look good here.

Cousins is ok as a pest but he ain't cracking this lineup so bring in one that Hak will have to play.

He has 14 points, and has been a healthy scratch. He hasnt scored more than 23 goals since 2012, and is incredibly inconsistent in all three zones.

I just see a team like the Rangers who moved a good player in Brassard for a promising young player in Zibanejad to not just get better now but also the future.

This Flyers team is still probably 2 years away.

I am not saying make a foolish deal. But I am coming closer to the side of moving Giroux then I was in the past when I thought it was unthinkable.

Only problem is we know 76 isn't going away. and I want Leier playing every night. it seems that Cousins and Read are the ones who would end up in a platoon for 3rd line winger if those two are considered. I know Schenn at center isn't optimal but it's really a need right now.

I have no problem trading Mase or Neuvy to get Stolie up this year.

Well I think mcdud will be playing until he reaches the min game requirments for the entry draft. I am a little surprised they haven't traded Shultz yet, maybe closer to the deadline. Everybody looks for a cheap vet dman for the playoffs. To me this team is just too soft as well. Weiss isn't bringing what he should and now I really regret letting ryan white walk for a mil and signing Weiss. I knew that would bite us in the butt. If I were to call anybody up it would be Morin. He can skate and is a nasty sob. Something that is needed I think. Gudas does a good job but Morin would just bring different elements. Bring him up for 10 games or so and see how he does. You never know he may surprise everybody. On the forward group I think the only improvement would be a trade. Nothing in the ahl will bring impact. Our forward group is still weak in ahl, nhl caliber wise. I still stand by my opinion of wanting e kane. Hes prolly the only player meeting the scoring,grit, and speed aspect that we can get on the cheap. I just think as well that hextall still and will still continue to look for options but he isn't trading away youth or picks for anything at this point and possibly not this season. Still building through the draft seems to be the mo. But we cant wait too much longer...two years or more to put this together. G isn't getting younger along with some other elite talent we have on the forward lines.

I would almost just bring laughton up. The Phantoms were playing well without him. Bring him up. He adds some speed. Maybe it's sink or swim time for him

agreed. I dont get why cousins sits while weise plays. Cousins gives some sandpaper if anything he gets under teh skin of the opponents. I doubt anyone even notices Weise is on the ice most shifts.

Defend him on the PK.

Defend him being used over 16 minutes a night and on the top pairing.

The first thing you need to do before coming at me, is to become informed. If you go into last night's thread, you'll find that I criticized MacDonald for having a subpar game.
Secondly, overall I've done a lot of posting on the subject of MacDonald, and how he has been overused pretty much almost his entire career. He is at best an average 2nd pair puck moving finesse defenseman. He did not belong playing top minutes in NY, and he does not belong on the top pair here, whether that is at ES, or on the PK. I've been consistent with that position for years. I've also been consistent in that in my opinion, MacDonald is a better player than given credit for.

Lastly, I really don't care what you post in the future. Have at it.

I'd like to see Morin up ASAP, it's not that hard to do even with Streit being activated.
Step 1: Waive Gordon
Step 2: Waive or trade Schultz
Step 3: sit AMac and Manning

I don't give a (frank) if AMac gets his games in, no one is taking that overpriced sack of poop off our hands any time soon. And big (frank)ing whoop if they have to expose Manning, its not like you'd be losing Chris (frank)ing Pronger!
