4 on 2 broken up and no rush the other way. Slow skaters out there for that one.

Do think a change up to lines is in order for the 3rd.

Couturier line is being hammered, and everyone else is mainly on the perimeter even when they do forecheck.

I know its just going to sound like more Hakstol bashing...

Thats not the point though, if thats Torts you can bet your ass the Jackets would have at the very least a make-up call coming. He'd be riding the refs all game and then crying about it to the media.

To just say "ignore it and keep working" is good advice for the players but you have to advocate for your club as a coach. So far, he's bent over and said thank you.

I didn't believe you at first, but then I found the replay of your last sentence.

Why? It was an instantaneous play, where both players dropped the gloves, rather than any premeditated fight with any other motive behind it.

No need to. Your read on this game and what has happened, has been completely off base. Whether it was about the retribution you think one of the players you don't like has to seek, how the coach handled the allowed goal, or the Raffl fight.

Actually, Raffl should have backed off. Best pressure of the game and he kind of screwed us.

The explanation offered on why the Flyers goal was disallowed, is nonsense. Raffl has the right to fight his way and skate to the front of the net. If the Blue Jackets defender wants to physically challenge him for that space, which in turn causes him to bump his own goaltender, well then too bad. That's hockey.

If you're going to disallow that goal, then the Jackets goal should have been waived off. That bump had more to do with the goaltender making the save.

Reality is that both goals should've counted, and it should be 1-1.

That's easy to see on TV and way less easy to see on the ice.
