I just dont get it...These two before TK ?
Because either player is really going to take advantage of the open ice.. - opeth_pa
But they're defensively responsible!!!
No matter how (frank)ing slow or unskilled they are. |

Matchups. Hakstol does not trust Konecny's puck management and play away from the puck, at this point.

Good point but I'll get the arguments started. That should have been a 2 1 regulation win. - Hextall271
Should have been up 1-0 and then who knows what happens. A roughing call on Foligno when he hit Konecny.
Boys tried, but not good enough.
That 2C hole is huge right now. Not sure how to fix that. |

Its weird. Konecny is one of the 3 (along with G and V) that can actually create plays and have some offensive creativity.
If the Flyers were a team that did damn well in the shootout then sure.

I would love to know the stats on what percentage of Flyers ENGs that Schenn has scored the last couple years. 80%? |

On the road, in that situation, I would agree, but I understand his thinking.

Again, not sure what to do with that 2C spot but have to change things up in my eyes anyway. They played okay, but results need to be there as well.

Not the right decision. I don't understand whats so complicated about 1 vs 1 hockey. Its backyard hockey. He has a skill set that should help the team. I don't see other teams with their checking line plugs out there. Weiss 4 points on the season. 4 freaking points on the season.
Let him go out there and learn then. Point is already in the bag during these moments. In a couple minutes it goes to a coin flip lame shootout situation this is not a huge (frank)ing conundrum get your skill players out there |

All foolishness aside, I was big on the Bob train and was not happy when we traded him. I used to subscribe to a goalie mag that analyzed goalie styles etc. And they did an analysis of bob. Said he was the real deal and he also passed the eye test to me. When we got bryz I was ok except for the term of the contract because I thought it could be a tandem with bobevdntially taking over. Never saw bob getting dealt. Hated it. That and the hartnell trade are two I'd do over.
For the record. I still cheer for bob when he's not playing us. |

The Flyers just played a back to back with the 2nd half coming against the best team in the NHL, and they got 3 out of 4 points on the weekend. The results are there. That's not to say that there isn't room for improvement, but coming off the funk they were in, they are playing better, and had a good weekend.

Ghost's best game of the year. Against a team like that very encouraging. Neutral zone presence outstanding. Assertive taking it up the ice and some fantastic poke checks |

12-28-24 actually did really well again. It was the 2nd line that wasn't good. They were all kind of off, but Jake was a mess all game too.
Call me crazy, but I'd just keep the forward lines the same. |
