It's awsome when 3rd liner 30 year olds get massive contracts, unless it's your team. Bolland, Neilson, it happens every year. Do the GMs not learn? - BestRapperAlive
Remember when Lou signed Kovalchuk to a 17 year 102 million dollar contract? |

Leafs have a legit shot at the playoffs and some people still want them to lose. wining and getting that experience of a playoff push, even if they miss out > top 5 pick. - burn
With good scouting there's always a chance at a steal.

Leafs taking the 4 points in the next 2 games , aren't we a little over zealous there , I am a Hab fan who used to tease Leaf fans but no more ! you guys are definitely legit and fun to watch but come on don't go overboard PLEASE , Yes great management and great decisions are being made and the young core is terrific , give them a chance to mature together and at least give the Habs credit for the season they are having ... do you honestly think that the Habs will just lay down and play dead ? The Leafs are doing well and are on their way and a playoff series between the Habs and Leafs would be phenomenal, but please taper the over zealousness with a little reality if the Leafs get 2 that would be great if they get 3 points that will , be really great but winning 2 games in 2 days and the 2nd game is against the Habs and Carrey Price which is no easy thing to do for any team |

Agree with this completely.
Losing for the hope of high picks should be done. The build can continue with good scouting and late pick drafting, trades and UFAs.....but most importantly this team and the young core need winning experiences and that includes playoffs.
The Edmonton plan doesn't work.
Let's go win some poop. |

It's probable that the Leafs will get less than 4 points in the next two games, but all good teams eventually figure out how to win back to backs when there's something on the line. Whether it's this weekend, next weekend, in March, or next year, I'm not sure, but the Leafs have demonstrated that they can play with some top competition in the league and they have only to progress their consistency to a point where they can give themselves a chance to win (and not break down epicly in the 3rd) every night. |

Well we can at least wait until he proves something in the NHL before he is a steal |

Leafs should win by at least 5 goals against this line up
Pacioretty-Danault-Radulov
Lekhonen-Plek-Andrighetto
Carr-Mitchell-Flynn
Fanrham-McCarron-Scherbak - Symba007
The leafs do their best losing against teams they should easily beat.
3-1 leafs into the 3rd
4-3 habs victory. |

He's been very good this tournament but I think some of his puck carrying tendencies could lead to a lot of Gardiner-esque turnovers at higher levels of hockey. |
