I sat on the same channel as the USA game when it was over waiting for the Fin game to start because that's what my guide on Bell says... after it turned to football highlights I said what the (frank) and moved up a channel to discover this game was 2/3 over...
OK, how are our boys doing? |

The Canucks and Corrado are being (frank)ed over by the Leafs and the league is letting them do it.......................now do you remember? - A_SteamingLombardi
All Corrado wanted for xmas is his feelings to be considered |

Do you guys ever think outside the box or is everything black and white?
Oh no, we might lose a plug with a bloated contract for nothing... because it's not like there's an endless supply of #6 dmen or bottom six forwards on the waiver wire every october.
It's not like we couldnt trade a 4th round pick to get our plug back from vegas when they have to start trimming the roster.
Aside from Horvat, are you really gonna lose sleep over losing anyone on this roster? You all collectively remind me of a 5 year old who's older sister took his toy truck and his world is shattered, so he crys and crys and crys until mommy makes her give it back. - Max.Betts
You can not trade the player back for at least a year. The NHL has closed that loop hole.
Regardless if Sbisa is a plug or not, this is a golden ticket to try and get rid of Edler, otherwise we are stuck with him for two more years. |

pretty much...the only players that matter that aren't exempt are Horvat, Tanev and E.G. Who cares who we lose. A bunch of scraps |

I think Sbisa being moved is more likely than edler.
For the team acquiring him it will cost less and he could still be exposed next year without a great loss.
We then expose biega. Who LV will not select.
If Granlund continues to play well, I think he would have to be considered by GM GM.
Sbisa or Granlund. - dbot
D will be more in demand as usual at the TDL.
Either way i see us sinking & a D gone most likely.
Prefer forcing Edler but if its Sbisa so be it & hope a solid return.
If either gets moved & somebody pays a kings ransom for Hansen we leave nothing but AHL depth players. No matter what its nothing to lose sleep over 😜

Do you think? Or will trades be few and far between when teams consider expansion possibilities? I think we will see a much quieter tdl this year. |

I think there will still be trades for the playoffs just not major trades. |

Trades for contenders or those underwhelmimg eg TB Dallas as usual.
All in all idk but I suspect a quieter TDL overall.
So many teams are in the mix so some trades for sure. |

The only forward I am worried about protecting is Bo, any other player that is expansion eligible is not that much of a concern. Sure we may like this player or that player, but really they are low end 2nd liners or 3/4 liners. Not a big deal. |

Ya Hansen is a player too consider unless moved ( only grit we have up front), Baertschi hi and Granlund are temporary filler.

I honestly wouldnt even bother protecting the Sedins be cause I dont think they would get picked up. Both near the end of their career with big money contracts that are about to expire. Vancouver could essentially resign them after their term is up in Vegas. It would be a bad move by Vegas management. Big time gamble. |

I know Granlund and Sven are fillers. Until something better comes along I would keep them. |
