Apparently TB has 5 Canadians, would be nice if Canucks changed drafting philosophy so we had some Canadian boys to cheer for. - Reubenkincade

Maybe not. Pointing out that they have 5 drafted players on Canada roster. |

Drafting well keeps you competitive, which Tampa has been for several years now, something I hope Benning is starting to do this year.
To date he's has Virtanen, Forsling and Boeser out of his draft classes play in the tourney. |

Now there's a team that could use the twins for secondary scoring. - LeftCoaster
What do we get in return? |

This year Juolevi and Jasek. He has made some nice late round picks. Brett MacKenzie is looking not too bad as a 7th, along with Tate Olson,

I like how the swiss play, a lot more fun to watch than most euro countries. Fast pace, grit and aggressive forecheck. That 16 year old d-man looks very good. |

I don't know if I've ever wanted Eklund to be more right. We'll take lehthonen back and a first, thanks. |

I believe MacKenzie is an overage player, they seem to do well but rarely turn out, who knows, but I seriously doubt it.
I watched Tate Olsen live a few times, not impressed enough to think he'll ever become anything, but I'm no expert. |

Have the Canucks ever had any high profile young Canadian prospects in the World Juniors besides Linden and Hodgson? Maybe Luc Bourdon? - LeftCoaster
Bryan Allen had a good tournament. May have even scored tourney winning goal if I remember correctly. |

What year did he play, didn't see his name anywhere.
Edit: It was 1999, I missed Brad Ference in 1998 too. |
