Personally, no.

Horvat is 4 years younger and brings more skills to the table. I think he will become a consistent 20 goal, two way guy. He should also hopefully still be in his prime by the time this team can challenge.

Dutch is very crafty but is basically a 20 goal, 40-50 assist player who outside the offensive zone is pretty ineffective. He would also likely be hitting 30 by the time this team can consistently compete

I am not too sure to be honest. I think it really depends on how bad the AVS want to blow it up. If Ray is right, and everyone is available minus Mackinnon and Barrie, than we gotta see what the price is for Landeskog and Duchene.

Obviously Duchene will come at a heavy price tag, but last night the one thing I noticed more than anything is how BAD the Canucks get pushed around. Who hits apart from Tryamkin, Dorsett, Skille, and Sbisa? I think we are all hoping Virtanen can turn into a true power forward that supplies a bit of hitting. Landeskog can do both of that now. But you are right, I am not sure we have anything that isn't our future that the Avs would want.

Both teams can consummate a trade being the Avs need to shore up there D & us needing a key F. Landeskog is more feasible & should be explored. MacKinnon is going nowhere. Barrie too pricey prolly & not a suitable deal we could make in my mind.

I have no problem with them holding on to guys like Hansen if they don't like the return but if they get a good offer there is zero reason to pass
