they are young ....they have all had good games and bad ..as long as you see progression to more good than bad be happy - Redmile247
Absolutely, but we are measuring them by the 'p*ssie' metric, not the 'progression' one |

Ok.
So what do you propose to fix this purported 'p*ssie' issue?
Sign 5 other Gudbranson's?
Tryamkin, who is 6"7, 265, (much less p*ssie) was worse tonight then Hutton, on both sides of the puck, regardless of the happenstance goal he got. - Whiskey-Tango
Fu*ck yes, its simple really. JB needs to stop trying to pull rabbits out of his ass by signing or trading for guys like Baertgee, LE, Granlund, Rodin, and Philip Larsen. I know it sounds cliche but we need some good old Canadian boys added to this team. You add the Sedins to the mix and yes, you have a bunch of P***ies.
Im sure some of these guys can fetch us some sandpaper players. Redmile, we will give you Baertgee and Granlund for Ferland?
Oops, am I on to an essay here? |

Calgary had a few goals with sending a few people to battle in front of the net. I don't think Canucks have had a player in front o the net since Naslund got his Jersey retired |

Much like when feaster got to Calgary ...but I think it was worse in cgy ...cupboards were bare and the team was old and slow |

Big Bert ...how does one move him ? Is it worth the effort ...probably best to just skate to the bench and take your minus |

I know but I was convinced that JB was a Meat and Potatoes type of guy when he first arrived. Now we are just tossed salad!
Sorry I am frustrated that is all! |

The team had 10 shots on goals and got outplayed. You can't win like that. They players need changing , but in true Canuck tradition I am sure Bur Milsie and the Twins will all be extended |

You need skill and toughness. Canucks have neither.

This team sucks, not because they are pussies, but because they can't score goals.
Ferland has 5 (frank)ing goals and 11 points in 36 games.
Sven has 7 goals and 17 points in in 32.
Granlund has 7 goals and 14 points in 35.
They are not the problem.
You clearly missed the bandwagon of old, the days of Torres, Rome, Kesler, Lapierre and Bieksa etc when we failed to win the cup playing a non-pussie game.
We need speed, skill, youth and puck possession, not muscle, hits and fights.

They have to go ...some will say they would like to see them in a secondary role and they will be fine but as long as they are Canucks it will be their team ...everyone thought iginla should retire a flame...but if him moving on was the best thing ...it allowed for a true turning of the page |

I think him coming from a team like Boston had most convinced he would bring that kinda team to van |

Ferland brings more elements to his game then those two ..if they are not producing offensively they are not that effective |

Ferland is also a fourth line player and the the two you mentioned are basically playing on Vancouver's 2nd line.
Anyway, I think we have way more problems than just scoring. It would just be nice to see everyone play as hard as Hansen, Burrows, Stecher, and Horvat when we are losing.
Love you Dad! |

Ferland is a (frank)ing bum.
A straight up Kassian that will burn out in a few years, pure and simple.
You are talking about a bottom 9 forward as if he's the heart of the team.

He's been great this year ...it's easy to look at stats from players on a team you don't watch and say a player is this or that ...Ferland is noticeable every game pretty much for all the right reasons
I never said he was the heart ...but he did have an entire team scared to handle the puck one series a few years back |

Ferkland was turning with the puck at centre ice tonight and Granlund had all the time in the world and every opportunity to absolutely hit him hard. Granlund just let him skate on by. |

i'll give you that, but again, we are a 'team of p*ssies".
How well did Ferland fair against Anaheim?
How well will he really do against the the likes of Chicago, Minni, San Jose Etc.
The guy is literally a new-age Jordan Tootoo, nothing more. |

I'm not trying to say he is this top line power forward ...but he isn't this plug you make him out to be
He took some hits from tbe Ducks that's for sure
Guy had almost 100 points in junior ...he's no tootoo |

If Hansen can do it, Granlund can do it? I don't know because this is the NHL and a hit like that can be a game changer.
Anyway, I'm feeling better now that I have a few Stella's down the hatch.
Have a good night and we will kick your as* next time you CONSPICUOUS TROLL! |

Big (frank)ing deal:
Gaunce, OHL, 103g, 236 pts in 258 games.
Ferland, WHL, 88g, 211 pts in 215 games.
I'm willing to call Gaunce a bust yet Ferland is an integral member of the flames
P.S, Tootoo put up 35 goals, 74 points in 51 WHL games his last junior season, much like Ferland in less games played. |
