no of course its not like THAT lol
like I said its a coaches job to rid the team of bad habits, tendencies etc. and in new better ones. None of that has happened. Nothing. Its his job to get them shooting more when he sees they arent. Extra practices, running drills till they sweat even.
But no he does NOTHING. so THAT right there is reason enough to move on. - SMBDragon

And I'll counter with, regardless of the coach, this team is talent deficient and doesn't have the moxie to compete on a consistent basis.
I am definitely not absolving WD on the status of the team, but I am putting a very large portion of the teams issues on the players themselves. - Makita
What your not going to point out that WD didn't get a single shot on net tonight?
Not to mention how often he was missing his D assignments... unreal |

as Ive said in other posts, this is a country club. I think that has a lot to do with what youre seeing. Not so much lack of talent, but a flawed offensive system and country club effort and willy allows it. Change is needed to that specifically, which is from the top down.
you remember all the time I b*tched about the D last seasons? What did I say? I said if the team had a defensive plan (system) and breakout strategy the D would be much better and guys like edler would have a much better season. SO changes were made this summer to deal with exactly what I spoke of and our D is much better now AND edler is having a good season. It all was exactly as I said.
I think given the fact that all this was true and exactly as I said it was you should give the coaching side more weight. I also said if you hire a new coach to run the D instead of lidster we'd be better...also came true. Give it some credit. |

there certainly is some very strange things that happen repeatedly during canuck games. Annoying habits etc.
Remember its a coaches JOB to weed crap like that out. He hasnt done squat that way in 2.5 seasons. So if you look at it that way you see he's not really doing his job. Time to find someone who will.
like I said I made no complaint about wd all game. I honestly just think they look tired - SMBDragon

Wow that was tough to witness.
Hutton couldn't string a pass if his life depended on it. Can't remember who it was, maybe Johnny, but Hutton let up on a really good hit. Guy is too nice...the problem is, though, we have too many nice guys (P*uss*es) currently on the team.

You missed a beer league game minus the entertainment of a few good fights. Awful. |

Amazing that this team is only 3 points behind detroit, 4 points behind dallas and nashville, 6 points behind tampa
Weird year. - NorthNuck

I just meant the Jets have a bit more toughness and we played them quire well last Tues…the Flames are a better team overall yes I am talking about how much we looked like pussies vs Calgary. - LordHumungous
I was high on the jets this season but after watching them play Calgary and Vancouver I'm left thinking they are not as close to a good team as I thought they would be
Maybe the should fire their coach |

He was my one example of our "p*ssies on the ice tonight. I could have went on but I am not here to write Essays like some people (N4u).
We could sure use a Ferklund or two |

Ok.
So what do you propose to fix this purported 'p*ssie' issue?
Sign 5 other Gudbranson's?
Tryamkin, who is 6"7, 265, (much less p*ssie) was worse tonight then Hutton, on both sides of the puck, regardless of the happenstance goal he got.
