Halak has net to himself in #Isles AM skate. Assume he's in tonight vs. WSH.
Something is working with Greiss and Cappy has to change it up again. |

Also with some more #Isles ownership conversation news...
Wonder if we get more names for president that Ledecky and Malkin have been speaking to? |

Been some rumors around NHL that #Isles are shopping Ho-Sang. Not true. Still want him to succeed. Part of the process, as they like to say - ses111
Ho-Sang will be fine, its the team that will ruin him..... |

Hope you all had a great Christmas fellas.
Amazing that matt barzal was best players on jr team Canada against Russia yesterday. But somehow Cappy cant figure out how to use him. I guess he is too offensive and too good a passer.
Needs to skate Haad and just dump and chase instead. - Spartiarti
Funny, I thought the same thing with respect to Barzal and Capuano not having a spot in the lineup for him. |

Ho Sang has issues, but Garth and Cappy have bigger ones. |

Might be a good bet. Isles play better with Greiss and Isles on a layoff will probably come out flat. |

I think at this point as it stands with this current roster, its best to lose. Is the goal to squeek in to the playoffs as an 8th seed to get trounced by the #1 seed? Call it a day......its over. This GM and Coaching staff have made it clear, they are not the answer. Lets hope the isles can continue to lose so they have a shot at a first overall pick. If nothing else its another tradeable asset to get JT a winger in the offseason. |

I think the playoffs are a huge longshot. Even if they make it they are not going on a long run. It's best to get that president hired and they clean house and they get ready for the offseason. |

Don't worry they're not squeaking into the playoffs. |

Last time the Isles played Washington, Halak pitched a shut out. We all know how superstitious Cappy is. When he walks, he avoids stepping on cracks in the sidewalk. |

I'm not surprised Halak is playing tonight. I'm not blaming the season on Halak, but IMO Greiss is clearly the better goalie and the Isles seem to play better with Greiss. Isles gave Halak all those starts and still no trade. Unless a contender loses a goalie for the season, I cannot see Halak being traded. |

Totally agree. The sooner the better, because they're literally a laughing stock. Every third period blown lead, and or loss, just makes me smile a little bit. Hearing Snow back his roster is an absolute lie and a joke. |

Honestly, Halak has 1yr left at $4.5m for a starting G, Greiss may want 3-4yr extension which I wouldnt do, plus could bring back a better pick bc of contract... |

Yeah so far they're 0 - and I'm not even sure what the number is up too? Like the PP and just about everything else this management team does if it doesn't work then by all means keep doing it. - Cptmjl
And conversely. when something does work, change it. |
