Have to say The Islanders played a lot better last night then they have all season.
In my opinion their best game of the season.
That said it was a Buffalo team that IMHO isn't very good and looked a bit tired last night. They did however beat the Islanders last week.
I need to see a consistant effort like this on a game to game basis to start believing in this team again.

Just want to wish all on here, on this Christmas Eve a Merry Christmas and or a Happy Hanukkah.

He actually made a few VERY bad passes/turnovers before scoring.

Not condemning him but Garth definitely failed at replacing what we lost, in addition to not adding a proper linemate for JT for the 9th year.

Keeping Martin would have kept the 4th line intact and I would almost guarantee they(collectively) would be scoring more as a line. Keeping Frans would have been better than acquiring Ladd. Making KO an offer might have kept him. Keeping Hamonic over Hall will be GS's biggest non-move, along with keeping Cappy as coach/housemate.

Mid-season Report Card: D-
