The Pens really took one on the chin last night. Hockey is a strange game. They've played a lot of games, and despite the Jackets being a juggernaut right now, I wonder whether the Pens had some Rangers let down. And maybe they were tired.

All these Metro teams can't keep this up. We know the Pens will be there, likely the Caps & hopefully us will be too. I don't think Philly & Columbus will maintain this level of play for the distance.

He's gotten in a few, he must cause he has a few fighting majors chalked up I saw.

I think everyone is just assuming the Blue Jackets will fall apart at some point, but I don't know. Right now they look like the best team in hockey to me. They have just hammered some teams this year -- 10-0 against Montreal, 7-1 against Pitt. They are legit, IMHO.

They're toast.

12 points is too much of a hole with only 50 games left.

29-14-7 the rest of the year gets them to 95 points and about a 50/50 shot at the post-season.

Conversely, Washington only has to go 24-22-5 the rest of the year to get there.
