He's been pretty good in Winnipeg. He's had a strange career arc. He started out strong, and as a result, was massively overrated. Then he dipped for a couple of years in a bad situation, and not he is starting to find his game again in those Mid-20s years where defensemen mature. I now think he is a little on the underrated side.

He's not an elite defender, but I think he can be a very good defender. But, he's certainly not a sure thing either.

Could be interesting. I just remember he made Girardi look like a speed skater. He would get beat to the outside pretty consistently. Granted all my recollections are from his time with Buffalo, so if he worked on his foot speed and positioning I wouldn't be against it.

You actually bring up an interesting point. If you are going to do something to get better on the right side, you better make sure it makes you better. There are not many guys out there, that wouldn't cost the sun, stars and the moon, that can really guarantee that, including Myer.

Looking at Winnipeg, they have 5 players 20+ point, #6 has 9. I could definitely see them being interested in Stepan or Zucc for Myers.

Wild can't take on any salary.

I agree Stepan is better what about Dumba and Coyle for Stepan and a 1st. Gets us a RHD and #3 center back that will score 20+ goals, has an edge to his game, RH shot and brings size.
I'd be happy with Zibanejad Hayes Coyle down the middle all under 25 years old.
