It's not that they aren't Van's best D. It's the fact that the team in transition and with so many young D coming up. They would bring back the most value. That would be the way I would look at it.

Edit: I think most would call it asset management.

Miller and Lou should get a room together...maybe a discount for aging, washed up tenders?

Finland and Sweden are about the only teams taking a lot of draft eligible players. I hope JB picks the entire draft of europeans just to (frank) with VANTEL

Good question of course. Hard to say. I'm coming around to the idea of what Booner has said about WD and JB just being a stop gap here. Benning has scouted and drafted well so by the time Boeser Luolevi and Demko are developed here we will be looking at a completely different MNGT and coaching structure. What that will be is hard to say.

WD is all about performance & kids developing.
