So you think when the Sedins retire the team is going to be really good? Or suddenly Stamkos and P. Kane (whoever the FA du jour) are going to decide Vancouver is the ideal landing spot for them, and all of a sudden, whammy, Stanley Cup finals again? This team is mostly bad now, and will continue to be mostly bad for a while, regardless of who the coach is. The only thing from keeping them from being really bad, and I mean Phoenix Arizona bad is the Sedins.

Sadly, the Sedins are not very good anymore. They still put up points but the get all of the power play time and O zone starts. They have declined dramatically

Isn't this season (and last) exactly what you hoped would happen so they could draft high? Who cares what the talking heads say to the media, the tank is on. Kyle Connor and Brock Boeser drafted out of the USHL. Connor at 17, Boeser at 23 in 2015.
This year leading scorer is Finlands Eeli Tolvanen who is on pace for around the same amount of points as Boeser had. Except for that Tolvanen is 4OA right now by Sportsnet rankings.

Casey Middlestadt ranked 7th right now in Sportsnets rankings, is actually on a slightly better PPG pace but has played less games then Eeli.

The only 3 prospects going to the world juniors this year are all Finnish. (haven't officially made the team yet)

From what I read yesterday that Sweden is going to take Rasmas Dahlin over Timothy Liljgren and Erik Brannstrom. Dahlin is a 2018 eligible.

Craziness. The Canes usually take an entire week to score 8 goals.

Ryan Miller hasn't felt like that in that building in a long time.

Guy doesn't understand you need to have a coaching change before you start the rebuild. Has he never heard of the TML. That's how a rebuild is done. Change management, change coach. That's how a rebuild starts.
