I am old enough to clearly remember that night in St Louis when the Canucks purposely were blown out to show ownership the players have lost the coach's coincidence and Mike Keenan was fired after the game. Such is tonight.

I considered already the possibly after dominating for two periods that maybe WD said sit back and the team was deflated to start the 3rd but I don't see a mutiny. They looked pretty disgusted with themselves on the bench. Not defiant. Not indifferent. Disgusted.

The only thing sadder than this team is the people who think WD is stopping us from becoming a playoff team.

I literally just skipped the last 9 pages. What's up? I didn't see the game, haven't watched the highlights. I am smiling while typing this. I don't know if I should be proud they scored 6 or gave up 8 Or lost so bad that WD is a little closer to being fired.

Kind of funny because there is 9 different players on this team from 2 years ago when this team was any good. Most of the players that have moved on are the ones that people wanted out. The ones that most of us wanted to keep are now sucking.

Wel i mean, Bo Horvat, Troy Stetcher, Tryamkin, Hutton, several others are not easily replaced by getting rid of them, nor should we as they all have solid upside. Our issue is that we don't have any elite 1st line talent, just a bunch of 2nd liners, and our bottom is filled with AHL. Our defense hasn't been our issues most nights(tonight it was a mix of defense and goaltending) to say pick 12 is stupid as there are less than 12 players that are the issue. The issue is that we have players that are being asked to play as something the are not, or no longer are. Twins should be 2nd line right now, Bo and his line are playing as they should, and producing as they should. No proper 1st line is our issue.

It's an NHL roster, nobody is easily replaceable. Our D has not been good most of the season, just because they're young doesn't mean they are going to be. We still lack scoring, that's certainly not easy to replace.

We can blame it on coaching all we want, the roster sucks.
