I've been on board with moving Raffl to 2C since Coots first went down. However, I don't want Schenn back at 1LW. He's been a cancer to every line he's been on thus far this year. Not a lot of options though. - JFlyers00
How bout:
Lyubimov-G-Jake
Konecny-Raffl-Simmonds
Schenn-PEB-Weise
VDV-Cousins-CMac
Send down Leier, no point keeping him here to play 6 minutes per game.
You can also flip Lyubimov and Schenn in this lineup to shake things up |

Can we kick the extra point Vs McDavidLers...
Hack will really need to be a circus act as he better juggle the lines a bit because, counting on PP and G line with no other threats line 2-3-4 may block our extra point tomorrow night.
Would really like some weird experiment like Luby on top line or TK moving to 2 center Schenn LW-Train RW.
A one line team will be an easier target. - Konalover
Have you let the team know how to hit the net more, yet? |

Yea it's not a bad deal. It's just trying to figure out if the Flyers need to allocate that kind of money to a 3/4 guy when theres so much in the pipeline. I get we can always trade him but it becomes more difficult to trade any player on a UFA deal with big money/term.
If Amac keeps up this level of play all year you have to wonder if Vegas considers him. He may actually be more attractive to them with his contract/cap hit in order to reach the floor. I don't know how it would shake out but they may have to opt for some higher salary players. Obviously if they take Amac I resign MDZ in a heartbeat - Just5
I could be wrong, but I believe that Amac's deal is back loaded. |

Look at the majority of clean (yet hard) hits. The response of the team with the injured player is to make a bee line for the offending player, with no regard for their injured teammate. - jmatchett383
Oh, I thought you meant situations where they are literally kicking the guy while he's down.

Vegas won't pick any high price players unless they're good and fairly young. It just doesn't make sense when they are taking 30 guys, and then have free agency to fill out the roster. |

No, aside from Pronger, you don't see many players intentionally kicking the guy. And while I don't expect players to carry first aid kits on their backs, literally jumping over a player who's not moving (or even skating close to him at full speed) for a hit, clean or not, seems like a very bad choice. |

Well it's pretty obvious he won't be back next year.
Looks like next year it will be Ghost, Provorov, Manning, and MacDonald.
Hopefully Sanheim, and Morin are ready next year. |

I don't disagree, but these are hockey players we're talking about here.
The obvious solution is to take checking out of the game.
And make the nets bigger. |

We all way to see a top-6/7 that features Ghost, Provorov, Morin, Sanheim, Hagg, and Myers. In all likelihood, at least 2 of them won't pan out, and 1-2 more won't be more than 4/5/6 defenders. Which is fine. But you're going to need some veteran guys who can pull top-4 minutes. Right now, Gudas and MDZ would be those guys, and Manning is getting closer. Yes, AMac makes the situation murky, but I think you can trade him if you retain some salary. I agree that more than 3 years is sketchy, but I think 3 years at around $5M is something that you have to really consider. - jmatchett383
Yeah they need another vet body...just don't see why it has to be MDZ. He's at that age where he may be gunning for term which scares me. I'd just as soon look at bringing in a Daley, Oduya or even a Seidenberg for a year at top dollar rather than get tied up in term |

Plus another expansion draft is expected in 2-5 years. So if all do hit we are screwed for that. |

Amazing. No matter how bad they are at times, they avoid being scratched. VDV has played decently of late. Streit has pretty much been bad all year. |

As much as I'd prefer MDZ in over Streit, Del Zotto isn'texactly forcing the issue with Hakstol. He needs to live up the expectations he set for himself with strong play last season. If he continues to be uneven/unpredictable he's going to be on the hot seat. |

Streit has not been bad all year. He's producing points at 40/50 per season pace. He is slow as molasses and I would definitely have MDZ in the line up over him but let's not over react. |
