I just love Roy's looks at that coach. "it's either you or me that's (frank)ing outta here" - dragonoffrost
I never noticed that, when he sits down, he has this amazed smile on his face, kinda like, "Holy poop, did I just do that?"

No, that pick was traded to LA who selected Austin Wagner. We traded it for Vorobyev and Salinitri.

Safe assumption. After reading the names I don't give a hoot who it turned into for the Flyers, either. lol

Age 23-30 Umberger was a damn good player. We could really use a guy like him right now. - Feanor
I'm thinking Umberberger post trade was the Umberberger referenced

To me that is a bit of hindsight thought...
I think we would all take it back now but at the time you were basically trading a struggling 2 overall pick for a struggling 5th overall pick in a position that the team really needed . - opeth_pa
Except that it really wasn't. They had enough stay-at-home/defensive dmen types at the time. They really needed a young puck moving dman which Luke Schenn was not.

How are the Flyers 6th in SOG/game? I thought they missed the net all of the time. - jmatchett383

Corsi is inclusive of all shot attempts, even the ones missed and blocked. Why we are worried about how many the Flyers miss is really beyond me! The attempts are still happening
