It is awesome. It's a very underrated hockey city. You'll have a great time. Have you ever been to Nashville before?
- jmatchett383

Never been to Nashville before but I hear it's a great time from everyone I know who's been definitely on my visit within the next 5 years list. Nashville/Memphis, San Antonio, Denver, Montreal, Dublin. Not in that order.

I am praying for those in Eastern Tennessee right now. Man Gatlinburg looks a mess from those fires.

Yep. But really, as much as I hate to admit it, I'd say Led Zepplin probably has a more solid catalog, although it's not as big as the Beatles' one.

But really, it's hard to even find an album that has no filler. I mean, an album where you don't want to skip any song because they're all great. So far, I've found 2:

Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

- jmatchett383

Agreed.

And agreed on both of those, but I'll add that DSOTM should always and only be listened to in it's entirety.

For no-filler albums, I'll add Genesis Duke

They're going from wildfires to tornado/hurricane conditions. Definitely feel for those people.

But Nashville is great. The downtown area is very small and compact. But there's literally always someone playing on every block, and at every bar at night. Even if you don't like country music (you'll hear more than just country), it's still great. We had a blast down there.

Well, on Appetite, "Anything Goes" is nothing special and on Dark Side, the "On the Run" is really just some synth filler in between "Breathe" and "Time"

It's really hard to come up with any album where every single track is great. The closest 2 for me would be either Rush-Moving Pictures or The Who-Who's Next.

Also, I might have to adjust my top 10 band list to find room for the Kinks, I love Ray Davies song writing.

Duke is a very good album, but I like "Trick of the Tail" better.

That last part is my problem I make a list of music and then I think how did I miss this one.

Taylor's early stuff, before she went full-on pop, is pretty good.

Yeah, I said it.

- jmatchett383

Her early stuff was right in my daughters' wheelhouses so I know it quite well. It's good.

I thought Who's Next was a greatest hits album. That was a regular release? Damn.

Anything Goes is actually one of my favorites on there. FWIW, the 4 "hits" are the songs I'd put at the bottom if I absolutely had to rank them.

Trick is fantastic. I have a soft spot for Duke because it was my first exposure to Genesis and it hooked me hard.

Philly area guys may remember this - back in the day, on Sundays WMMR (I think that was the station) would play seven albums in a row, uninterrupted. I'd have my cassette deck ready to go. Free albums!!! One Sunday Duke was on the list. It blew me away.

You should check out Gatlinburg in the Smokey Mountains by Dollywood. I hear it's awesome this time of year.

You're an bumhole. That's (frank)ed up.

Agree.

Actually the MacDonald/Gostisbehere pairing was only minus pairing last night. Gudas had a rough night. But really no one other than Mason played really well. Konecny had a tough night. Think he had a Charlie horse that might have contribute to that. If I had to pick a player who was actually solid other than Mason it might have been Lyubimov. Was very noticeable again with his speed and tenacity each shift.

- J35Bacher

Oh no, not a minus.

They were the best possession duo last night. Provy/Gudas got killed.

That's what I find fun about bands like GnR. I like the deeper stuff like Coma, Breakdown or Estranged from the Use Your Illusion albums.

Who's next is one of the greatest albums of all time. I can see why you thought it was a greatest hits album. Every track on the album is pure gold.

Agreed.

Unless you say that Rush is better than The Moody Blues.
Or that led Zepplin is heavy metal.
