If the Flyers want the wooing to stop, they really need to hope more people don't find out that Timmy P hates it.

Here's what you were talking about!

He was doing crap all game. And Simmonds wanted to make him pay a few times.

Man, those Bruins announcers are so hate-able.

did you know that george harrison was responsible for funding "the life of brian"? without him, that movie doesn't get made.

we all owe him eternal gratitude.

I would have been fine with it just after goals. Or maybe after a penalty to the opposing team only. Lou says "The Flyers are going on the PECO Power Play" ... The crowd replies "WOOO!". That would be fine I'd think.

no no no no....the woo is a Bruins thing. and I think Carolina copied them. and (frank) throwing a home run ball back. if I catch a home run I am keeping the damn ball. I'd give it to a kid but the kids dumb parents would probably make them throw it back.

My kids team was doing that two years ago. Not sure where it came from really but they won a lot of games and I heard it a ton of times.

I always thought it was disrespectful of the other team on the ice but it really got them going and pulled them together. The coach felt the same way.

It would have been unacceptable if the families in the stands were doing it.

And the only person I'm handing a home run ball to is my son.

From a talent perspective, it's better, and who the hell knows it may work, but it just seems like an ugly mix to me. You have a rookie LW with defensive struggles, a center who is really kind of a winger who struggles defensively, and I guess Wayne Simmonds is the best 2-way player on that line and line-driver, even though he's a complimentary PWF? Just seems like a line that could get absolutely caved in against good competition and not get the puck out of their own zone. I would so much rather have a mixture of:

12-28-17
11-10-93

Gives each line a plus possession 2-way player, a finisher, and then some puck skill.

it was just a matter of time. being dropped to the 4th line was a kick in the pants to Schenn

I'm not liking 93 on that line much better to be honest. I agree with where you're going I just don't think that does enough to get you there. They really need a better mix up front. Not sure where that comes from.

I agree. 11-10-17 has the potential to be a disaster at 5v5.

I'd like to see:
24-28-93
11-12-17

Or something along those lines to make it work.

Your top 6 lines look better, but hockey is stupid so I'll give this new 2nd line a chance to succeed.

I think Schenn paid Provorov to push Trocheck on Couturier. All part of his devious plan to steal the 2C job forever.
