i know he potted one the other night...but he's not traditionally good at these. breakaways in games are a different animal than SO's. i just think there are better hands out there.

Simmonds is one of the leaders on this team, and has arguably been the team's best forward. I have no problem using him early in the shootout. Other than Giroux, none of the Flyers forwards have been especially good in the shootout.

Just awful attempts voracek a goal was lucky. They need to make it 3 vs 3 for 20 min

i like voracek, cousins and travis in this situation more than simmonds. just glad it worked out. especially with mason's performance. would have been tragic to waste it.

i need to look at his numbers. i can't recall one SO goal, although obviously he's got one in there somewhere. in game breakaway yes.

5 on 5 goals win a lot of games.

Hakstol should have his head examined. Ghost should be one of the top three players in a shootout everytime.

Just Cousins really. He for a non-speedster generates a ton of breakaways and is quite good on them. Cousins-G should be a lock. After that, roll the dice. Konecny was terrific in juniors though.
