I agree, not sure why anyone would think the Flyers played a great period. They're winning the goal battle, which is what counts most, but the Flyers gave up a ton of grade A chances against. Mason was outstanding.

Ok.. just for you.. I'll put the snarkasm aside for a moment.

They are who they are. Essentially, they're the same team they were last year, and they've even gotten off to the same crappy start (slightly better, but work with me here) that they did last year. They're going to have to turn it on again just like they did last year if they're going to make the playoffs. Even if they do make the playoffs, they're probably* not getting into the 2nd round.

This is going to take patience... and while I'm being patient, I'm going to crack jokes and make fun of the handful of croakers and trolls on this board.

Shots against don't tell the whole story like I said they turned the puck over int he early going but rebounded nicely. Usually they just allow the scoring chances for the other team to pile up nice to see them fight back for once

I firmly believe that there is still an undisclosed issue with G. His skating in stride seems Ok, but he has really looked slow getting to speed. He seems to lack any power at all. There must be unresolved issues with his hip or something.
