Yeah that one hurt. (frank)ing Ferland.

Any word on the injury and length of time out?

- Wildschwein

There hasn't been any word other than that he wasn't returning to the game with an upper body injury.

Seems telling that Pulock was activated the following day. My guess is he plays Tuesday, Friday, Saturday in Bridgeport before getting called back up. Not sure they'd plug him in 3 games in a row (Isles play Sunday vs. DET) but maybe he'll be back for the Rangers next Tuesday? No idea.

Think of all the savings on your pharmaceutical bills!!!

Also I now wonder if you ask your girlfriend to call you Girardi or if you call out Girardi while making love? Perhaps the answer is both?

Yeah judging by the hit I think Pelech's injury might be abdominal, maybe cracked ribs?

I'm glad Pulock has been activated but I hope they don't rush him back. No point needlessly jeopardizing his health or the purge.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Islanders players jumping head 1st into the boards just to not be in the lineup for that awful team.

Just like the Cowboys' recent success, the Rangers' strong play will only serve to make your tears more tasty when they choke in the playoffs.

Meh, I have no illusions the Rangers probably won't win a cup. I like the way they are playing and it makes the winter more enjoyable than constantly having to watch the abortion Cappy produced.

Cowboys have a legitimate shot if there defense can be slightly above average. Their offense is that good.

Truthfully, I think the Rangers are winning the Cup this year if Lundqvist can stay healthy and consistent.

Cowboys look great, as much as that pains me to say. Wouldn't be the least-bit surprised to see a team that is, largely, lead by rookies falter in the playoffs though.

I have a weird feeling about the G-Men this year. Not saying they're going to win a Super Bowl or anything, but if Eli can get a little more consistency and the running game can improve a little then I think they could really become a force.

Yeah I never count out the Giants. Lets be honest, other than Giants fans nobody thought they would have won in 2008 and 2012. They weren't even playing all that great going into the playoffs.

Rangers defense is going to be their downfall. Right side is so (frank)ing weak. No number 1 on that side.

They look awesome. If their defense can hold it together and Lundqvist is most-or-all of his usual-self then I don't see a ton of teams that are going to beat them.

I am trying the "reverse jinx" strategy here, FYI.

I would root for some higher power having the wisdom to collapse the roof of MSG directly onto the ice/benches. And one chunk to hit that traitorous Margo Robbie in the noggin.

Tough but fair.

I remember when the Yankees played the Phillies in '09 in the World Series and I asked my huge-Mets-fan friend that hates the Yankees who he was rooting for and he looked me directly in the eyes and said "Terrorism" with a very serious face.

Thought maybe your grandmother talked you to death with politics you disappeared. Isles still suck so not much has changed in the world although mdw has informed us he wants to change from his natural position of catcher to pitcher to which I saw why change what you're naturally talented at

Oh MDW is tremendously talented. Such a shame he is a Rangers fan.
