King Midas is a farce. If everything that he touched turned to gold, then 1) his body should have turned to pure gold and 2) the molecules of air that he came into should have turned to gold as well, not allowing him to breathe. |

It was just his finger tips... he trailed gold dust where ever he went.
Wiping wasn't an option though. |

Then why does the water in the drinking glass turn to gold? He's not touching the water with his hands.
Also, he's the king. He could have had people feed him his food or, you know...used a golden utensil if that was the case. But yes, wiping would be out of the question. |

if we list coots third then can we get annoyed at his production? - YuenglingJagr
You can list him where ever you want. I simply called it the first line to be clear what line i was referring to in an attempt to have an honest conversation. |

I personally disagree, Couturier is not creating anything for his wingers. Couturier, while certainly not the biggest issue, team defense, puck management, and goaltending have been the biggest issue. As far as individual players are concerned, Couturier has contributed greatly to those team issues, and his individual play to this point, is a large factor in the team's record to this point. He simply hasn't been that good, at either end of the ice. - MJL

They've also become very dump and chase heavy getting into the zone of late. But I agree. In a turn of events, Wayne Simmonds is probably the most dangerous player right now on that line at ES. I said it before, Giroux plays too perimeter. I'd like to see him try to find soft spots close to the net and get his nose dirtier. As great as he is on the half-wall on the PP, it has seemingly become most of his game at ES too. But he does need someone else to carrying the puck and do things. Weirdly enough, I think Coots could use one LESS player carrying the puck and doing things so he is forced to do it more. - Mononoke
Schenn had a great shift last night where he had two nasty deflections that could've easily gone in and then a follow up where he laid out and put it through the crease just missing the net.
Ottawa is tough sledding. Bouch has them playing really solid hockey. G at 5 vs 5 has been disappointing...defensively, offensively, anyway you slice it except for faceoffs.
I love that Boroweicki guy. Junkyard dog we need some of that.

can't think of any team worse than us right now once Arizona gets Smith back and Buffalo with Eichel we'll be alone in the gutter. Too bad there's no Austin Mathews in the draft this year |

Blessing in disguise? Flyers need to find more firepower down the middle. Not gonna hedge my bet on Rubstov coming through. |

Does Gudas get suspended if he drove a guy head head first into the ice like Borowecki did to Read? |

Read's gotta be stronger on his skates there. I guess Read shot his load the first two weeks of the season. |
