I am just not a fan of the chances the Giroux line is generating...not to mention they are giving up good chances. Something is off with the line. I don't think they are getting good shots on net.
As far as the scoring numbers, obviously better chances will help, but they are all shooting below where they should be. I am not panicking yet as far as their ES production, but I am unsure if letting the 3 of them continue to "work it out" is the best option. Leaning towards no - YuenglingJagr
G needs another puck carrier on his line. Like what was said above swap TK/Schenn or Voracek/Simmonds |

I see a lot of complaints.
For me, if your goaltending constantly gives up 1-2 weak goals a game you have zero chance.
A few games ago the Flyers had the worst save percentage of any club in the NHL. That's laughable. - flyer_nutter
They're still last in 5v5 save percentage.
Overall, Mason had a great game last night. Doesn't excuse the weak 2nd goal, but he made some great saves in the first 55 minutes that should not be forgotten. |

Last night Mason bailed the team out on numerous occasions and gave the team a very good chance to win. - MJL
I hate to beat the goaltending drum, but are the Flyers still dead last in save percentage?
Goaltending has been piss poor. |

How hilarious was it last night when CHNBR cross checked Provorov into the net, and Provorov, caught by the audio, yelled, "What the (frank) was that?" right at the ref?
Also, TK and Provy are road roommates. Such fantasies I am having. |

They've also become very dump and chase heavy getting into the zone of late. But I agree. In a turn of events, Wayne Simmonds is probably the most dangerous player right now on that line at ES. I said it before, Giroux plays too perimeter. I'd like to see him try to find soft spots close to the net and get his nose dirtier. As great as he is on the half-wall on the PP, it has seemingly become most of his game at ES too. But he does need someone else to carrying the puck and do things. Weirdly enough, I think Coots could use one LESS player carrying the puck and doing things so he is forced to do it more. |

After he plowed Mason I yelled go back to Cherry Hill, Bobby. It drew a good chuckle from my section. A few didn't know he was a local kid. Bobby seemed to be playing the pest very well last night. |

They seem to very rarely enter the zone with possession of the puck... Either way, TK or Voracek should also help create plays while in the O zone as well. |

Agreed with the above..
I actually think taking one of TK or Jake off the second line and moving them to the first may improve output for both Coots and G (at ES) |

From Elliotte Friedman:
7. Speaking of forwards, very curious to see where things go with Columbus and Brandon Saad. He’s fifth on the Blue Jackets in scoring, fifth in time-on-ice among forwards. But he was almost a healthy scratch last week and, somewhere, the team wants to ease its cap crunch. Chicago investigated it last season, but couldn’t make things work. He’s 24 years old and has a lot to give.
