Here is a list of presidents that put ban on certain groups coming into the USA, Obama (2011, 2012, 2015), Bush (2004), Clinton (1994, 1998), George H Bush, Reagan (81, 86), Carter (1980).
President Obama had the same "ban" as Trump's in 2015.

well yeah. The level of hypocrisy on display by all sides is actually nauseating. The pendulum keeps swinging further and further left and right whenever a new government gets elected that the hope for any common ground is basically a pipe dream at this point.
