Should I see it in 3-D IMAX ? Or no

Or should I spend all my money going 4DX?

- GERBE!!!75PTS

I'm not normally a 3D guy, but I did see this in 3D & it was pretty cool
If 3D is your thing, do it

It's a big special effects movie

We don't 4dx here, but I'm not really into that anyways
Seems kinda dumb

I'd send Baptiste down. I liked the puck possession I saw out of Carrier.
- Pierceme69

I'm assuming that Ennis will drop to the 4th line...
Ennis-Grant-Baptiste
or
Carrier-Grant-Ennis

I'm ok with either I guess

Unless Reinhart goes back to center
Then Girgensons can center the 4th line & we send down Grant
Kane-Reinhart-Ennis
Carrier-Girgensons-Baptiste

I actually like that better
And maybe Reinhart back at Center gets him scoring more

Bylsma is clearly very comfortable with Grant - he's going nowhere.

And as much crap as he takes in this thread, he has been pretty steady.

You can't have a team full of all stars . Guys like Grant are a necessary evil. Also I think he has to clear waivers to even go on . There will be lots of injuries this year . The guys from the farm will get their chances. Go back to the farm to perfect their game even more . I know that is hard to accept. But it is the fact.

I've only ever seen 4 or 5 movies in a foreign language that I enjoyed. "The Rocket", the Maurice Richard story with a bunch of NHLers in it. Lecavalier, Avery, Laperriere, Quintal... They had both the English and French versions on the DVD, and I started it in English and lasted about 45 seconds before I switched to French, the dub was terrible. Great movie, a definite recommend. "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". Some German movie about a serial killer, I can't remember the name of which was solid.
"9th Company", a Russian movie about their Afghan War, very good, very dark. "Life Is Beautiful" which most people have seen. And some Bollywood movie with Frieda Pinto.

Excellent flick. Way better than the US remake.

A couple pretty gritty wins. Playing well on the road too. The team is finally making the little plays to avoid mass destruction in their own end. They still can't score but obviously Eich and maybe even Chucker #9 might help.

Lehner had another strong game but the damn rebounds !

Did anyone else think that Carrier had a strong debut ? He made a couple nice plays along the boards to gain the zone. He just looks like he belongs. He was supposedly highly touted in St Louis. I wonder if he's one of those players that just plays better with better players around him (NHL vs AHL).

Eff the Sen's.

4 wins last 5 games. And we should have won the Tronna game.

It's a nice feeling.

- Der Kaiser

Should have won in Philly and Calgary too. Vancouver maybe.

I saw Dr Strange
Good, not amazing
The special effects were outstanding though

- jdfitz77

I thought he did a great job playing strange, and the special effects were unreal

they should have made the movie longer, as this is one character you can't plug and play into a super hero right away

more of a plot on the enemy should have been in the movie, as well as a bit more development on strange getting his powers

it was a hard character to translate on the big screen and I thought they did a great job

much better than superman, fantastic 4, green lantern or daredevil

on par with thor, spiderman, and the last hulk movie (only decent one)

keep him on the 4th line, and second team pk, and I am fine with him

give him a bigger role, and I have huge issues

We have RPX, whatever the (frank) that is, leather recliners which are amazing and I'll never see a movie without them again, and IMAX, that's about the extent of our modern movie theaters.

The middle armrest folds up so you can "get close" with whomever you go with, it's really nice.

- Wetbandit1

we have one of those down here, and they sell beer

I will be seeing the new star wars and skull island at the theater

Agreed . Seems nothing more than a body filling a roster spot . Helps with the play .nothing more than cheap 4th liner .

Will Lehner be better than Ryan Miller? Honest question. Lehner really has only played a handful of games here. Miller was a workhorse for 60+ games a year

If you had to take one who'd it be?

This question seems extremely premature
Lehner needs to play here much more before we judge him against Miller

Too early to even discuss. A) Lenner has shown flashes of immense talent, but he hasn't shown the consistency Miller did; B) Bylsma's system doesn't leave Lenner as exposed - intentionally - as Ruff's did with Miller.

But if you throw out the 2 highs and the 2 lows, Lenner's mean performances are pretty damn impressive.

Yeah...
the giant leap in his powers was a little confusing
Definitely would've helped if that was explained better

It's early, but if you had to choose Miller's career, or Lehner's potential, do you risk it? Or take Miller's career.

Lehner's numbers are crazy good (small sample alert)

Ill take Lehner since he doesnt have to be protected, literally. Its amazing what a giant whining bummer this fan base became after the lucic thing. Anything to avoid that again.

Way to early to tell. I love what I see in Lehner so far though...can he keep it up consisently and play 55+ games is the question.
I llike the fact be doesnt through his teammates under the bus though.

I did some math - which I suck at.

Miller's career SV% is 0.915. To control for the possibility that the Sabres system exposed him and artificially deflated his number, I also isolated his stats with other franchises: in those years, his SV% was 0.903, 0.911 (twice) and 0.916. Of course, he was 33 yrs old by the time he played with the other franchises. Miller's highest career SV% is 0.929.

In 29 games with the Sabres, Lehner's SV% is 0.928. His career number is 0.917.

except games played
Aren't u the guy that always brings up ppl being injured?

If a skater gets hurt, you can cover for him to a degree
When you're goalie gets hurt,
Quite a different story
