I'm not sure how this statement isn't more contentious in these boards.

Gotta ask, any reason why you chose not to include Horvat? Seeing how he's your team's future, seems odd to neglect him even if it's strictly a top-6 lines to top-6 lines comparison. Do you genuinely believe they're close? What makes you say that- aside from the aforementioned homerism?

Your Larsen is Spanish? No wonder he doesn't skate well

I just did top 2 lines this season, if I really wanted to I couldve just gone top 6 forwards and Horvat would've definitely enhanced my preference for Van's roster.

I think they are closer than people think. I really havent liked Montreal's teams for a while despite their mediocre success. I am impressed with Galchenyuk and think hes the real deal. Patches reminds me of a Wheeler, not flashy but produces. Outside of those guys up front, I am not so impressed with their forwards and likely why they have had troubles finding the right mix for a #1 line.

On D, Weber is miles and miles ahead, but I think Emelin is a 5D at best and Markov has aged a ton. So while Van lacks a true #1, I think their middle 6 depth on D is better overall. IMO if they didnt have Price (instead getting the same save % as Van), they would be bottom 3rd of the league again

Although i want the Canucks to win games as they are my team and I want them to be winners, I want them to lose every game until WD is fired.

Discuss.

So they're talking about Adam Larsson? Cause this has been throwing me for a loop all year. Both fandoms seem to be struggling to get a handle that it's not Philip Larson and Adam Larssen. (frank)in Scandinavian names, I guess.

Have the Canucks in their schedule and timing added to their woes of struggling players and thin offensive abilities playing a WD defensive first system and teams on a roll in this slump of no scroring futility.

We are in transition, with which should come lower expectations, maybe the circle should lower their expectations and lems should increase their expectations. we all have our own passion for the club.

I am not the biggest fan of WD, but I don't see what the rush is to fire him.

I'm all for seeing where we are at around the 30 game mark and if we are out of it, I hope we are a bottom 5 team. If we are in a playoff spot or close, I will be happy.

Either way, a coaching change could be done for a push for the playoffs or as a reaction to being out of it. Mind you, if we are out of it, what is the rush to replace WD?

I'm a fan, and either way, want to be entertained. If they are going to fire WD, they may as well demote JB to head scout and get a new gm because this team has lacked scoring and grit for so long and still miss it.

I'd rather pick a new coach in the off season than mid season.

I have been following these posts and it seems that the HABs are better because they have Price, Weber and Galchebyuk.... but if they didn't their other players don't rate higher then the Canucks .... okay.... now what are the Canucks going to do

Philip larsen for the Nucks is just a crappier version of Yannick Weber.

Tanev is miles ahead defensively over Philip larsen.

Wow…I jusr realised I quoted myself I really got to lay of the afternoon booze...

Ya kinda early to tell after 10 games but it appears we just should have saved ourselves the trouble and Kept Weber here…he may have 2-3 goals by now...
