A new coach isn't going to change anything. When a bad team gets snake bitten you get what we've been witnessing for the last five games.
- CubanBuffet

history shows otherwise. twice the pens have changed the coach and gone to win the cup as a result. Once was mid season, which was dan blysma.
====

that is exact copy of the original post. Where do you see reference to the canucks? and no comparison between teams either.

- SMBDragon

Your getting off on a technicality ...the convo was about the Canucks and you used the penguins as an example to say Canucks could be better with a new coach because it's happened to the penguins

To be fair the leafs have a couple wins in a row where they were outplayed by the opposition but still won ....and the Canucks have been outplaying opposition and losing ... this game is trending to be 2-1 leafs where van out shoots them 46-17

For the sake of this thread I hope its a 5-1 Canucks win

- Redmile247

now that's funnny and from a Flames fan it goes double

I was thinking the Canucks have over 40 shots after 2 periods but it's still 0-0....then Loui scores in the third and everyone thinks the flood gates are open ...then Sbisa takes a double minor and the leafs score two pp goals late ...marner and nylander each from Mathews

Canucks suck, the sky is falling, dragon is a wimp, Nuck4U looks like he is guilty for farting, Marwood sucks farts out of dead seagulls, etc

Joking boys! I think we will turn it around. Maybe this is our one and only slump of the year? There is no way we lose to Toronto. I will punch my grandma in the face if we do! (Marwood style)

- Bakwas

Yeah it will turn eventually. It's a smelly funk all right... but tell your grandma to leave town cause it may still hurt after the Learf's game. This is a system wide collective scoring breakdown. It won't be solved easily.

I know you respect Jarvis but he's had no HC NHL experience. Green has been talked about and not hired by other teams. The Flames past on him over our own assistant coach. Plus what has he done in Utica that makes him so much better then WD? I am not saying Green isn't capable but I don't know what he will bring that will make a difference now?
- Nuck4U

I could have shown he had a little bit of HC experience, but I know he's been almost exclusively assistant. Still its a LOT of experience and has had a lot of impact on this team in fixing the defense. Perhaps he can do the same up front?

I dont really know much about hreen aside from he's highly regarded. He's getting the interviews for a reason. Although I do remember him saying he turned down the offers as he was finishing another year w utica then going to nhl. Why I dont know, just repeating what he's said. I do know that in interviews he has a good presence and confidence which is a good sign if you ask me.

I know some will disagree but both Thunda and I like MacT here as HC as an option.

go look at that post which I reprinted. I said nothing in relation to the canucks what so ever. You SHOW me where I did.

but none the less the canucks would be better off with a new coach indeed.

always empty crap with no basis out of you.
Youre here every day trying hard to pick fights online with other posters, including me. Youre an incredible loser to act in such a shameful manner. Go crawl under the rock you came from under. Or perhaps I should say bridge.

Piss off and leave us all be. FIght w yourself

- SMBDragon

Agreed. There's not many who like to discuss hockey here unfortunately. Lots of name calling and personal attacks. It's a shame.

It's just something my mind can't comprehend how they just can't score. The chances are there. Breakaways, rebounds, empty nets. I understand it's gets hard when you don't score often but come on someone has to get lucky at least hahaha

To be fair, and all chirping aside, they do seem pretty solid on D and have good goaltending, so there's definitely something to build from. The issue is how do you get those star forwards? Because Canadian players would rather play in the US, the vast majority come from top 3 picks. Unless Vancouver suddenly have an upswing of weather or decide to not tax people, you'll need some top 3 picks.

I made this comment about what the players are thinking in one of the other threads…they may be tuning him out already.

I don't play anyone. but no they don't play PP together I doubt they've seen much minutes at all together so far this season. Matthews and Nylander have a boat anchor playing with them instead
