They don't have him above Stecher so unless we have 3/4 D injuries I don't know how he gets the call. They want to keep him hungry it seems and keep him looking good like Shink maybe for a trade....? I wonder if his usefulness and value goes up if he can show that he can play forward as well....? He's young enough to add that to his game ... be a PP specialist on D and a skilled bulldog forward that can play D when needed in a game too.... maybe it's far fetched or two much to ask but it might be his only play for the NHL....
