I am not sure he needs more in general. Given that he starts most often in the D Zone and still is leading the team in goals gives more to the theory that others need the O Zone starts to get going. That being said, I would hope (and I havent looked at any of the stats) that Horvat gets more O Zone starts in the 3rd where the Canucks have been typically been down

I still think a scoring Eriksson Sven and a healthy Rodin this is a bubble team that can make the playoffs. But

It looks like the Sedins are coming to an end of a career and can no longer carry the team as they have done in the past. I thought they could carry them to a 500 record for the next two years, but that hope seems to be dwindling.

I say give it another 20 games and if results are still the same then turn to plan B and forget playoffs.

First, not sure where you got 40 games from? He had 7 points in the first 20 games played last year, 10 in his next 20 GP, 9 points between games 41 and 60, and 2 in his final 9 games played last year. Fairly even production

Its a panic move because you're willing to put a guy on waivers (likely losing him) because he hasnt "got going". If the move is because the team isnt scoring/winning, who is going to produce better than him at this point to improve those odds? Utica has the same scoring struggles at the AHL level, so even less likely those guys translate it to NHL production

When we originally traded for Sutter, JB said he will go up against the top lines and be a more shut down guy. We need to play him in that role. Bo's strengths last yr and the start of this yr has been offensive, we need to play him in more offensive roles. I think LE should play with Baer and Bo as well. We need to start to be less dependent on the Sedins because proof is they are slowing down, and we are only 10 games into the yr. For whatever reason we fans can see it but WD doesn't seem too.
