Has anyone else noticed that Horvat is now the face of the Canucks. Canucks highlight videos (features his infamous dangle at the beginning of the video), sportsnet, cbc, its always "so and so face Horvat and the Canucks". Not that I mind at all, I think it is great.

We can't move on until they retire. Awesome Canucks but they aren't part of the future.

He's only 21

Same thing when Hutton talked about "these new young guys coming in to camp this year"

They are looking a bit older out there but that's life. They are still great players and smart enough to adapt and find ways to manufacture points even while they age.

Once Horvat and Boeser are running this show...I could see the Sedins here for a third line role for a season or two.

I don't see it...we need youth and speed on our 3rd line. Unless they can prove they can handle defensive zone starts they should retire. They currently are deployed almost entirely in the offensive zone. They are obviously great with the puck on their stick but retrieval is becoming an issue.

Had a dream that we drafter Nolan Patrick.. Don't remember how it played out but I was pretty stoked. The question is; Is NP good enough to step into the NHL right away? Or does he need some seasoning?

I had heard he would have fallen to 6/7 overall spot last draft if he was a year older.

He could be a 2nd/3rd line center next year. He is older than his peers and has NHL size.

I don't if he will even go first overall. Not having a good season. Probably not a franchise player. Unless it's a franchise center this team would be better to get some scoring get wingers with size.

Yeah. The rest of his game I heard. My cousin does stats for the wheat kings. Defensive play and winning face offs have been a problem.

Tanner Kaspick came back in really good shape he said. Showing in his game.

What he does 3 years from now is what he SHOULD have done 3 years ago. I have zero evidence to prove this but I still firmly believe FA has more of say than what JB and Trevor have lead on. Its clear as day that we are behind nearly every team in the league. Even the bottom teams (Carolina, CBJ, Arizona) have great depth in up and coming prospects, all which show signs of being competitive ONE DAY. ugh.

Was he here 3 years ago? He was brought in May 2014...is this part of the lemming craze, someone states an inaccuracy and everyone swallows ..er or follows

I'm pretty sure he is referring to 3 drafts, but that's a bit unfair to expect miracles with his 1st draft although he did pretty damn good.

Everyone is a critic and knows the the path to the holy grail, it's written in The Lemming Prophecies.

Too early to tell. Many projected top centers in the top 15...one may turn out to be a franchise player

The fact that there is no clear cut number 1 tells me there is no franchise players.

Elias Patterson. I'd add his youtube highlight package but it won't let me get a link.
