they should complement each others game well i would think, besides with Sutter and Grandlund the line is not short on speed but would benefit from a passing winger

Hanson is the fastest guy in the top 6 there and many have said Sutter isn't that fast he's just faster then Bonino who was that slow. But yeah could work. The other options of forwards available don't seem any better. Makes you wonder if bringing Subban in as a winger may work for this team right now ....

I think the Sedins miss Hansen's speed/puck retrieval and if they can play like they did last season, they might be able to get going and take some pressure off.

I'v wondered a few times if Eriksson shoots and misses, puck comes out early in a possession, if that bugs the Sedins as they usually want to set up a play?

many are wrong Sutter is a fast guy just has a Sutter stride so its not as pretty looking

Getting the first goal is crucial here. Why WD defense first type of strategy has been hard to get that first goal.... say they go for it and then batten down the hatches after getting that first one in.

Thats precisely it. The highest scoring team of the season comes in and gets 1 (from the most explosive player in the league) plus an empty net is a pretty good defensive game, the sad part is the Canucks cannot generate offensively. Its been a struggle for a while now, especially since the depth washed out and teams could simple focus their efforts on the Twins

whats with the doom and gloom Canuck fans ? we are still 3rd in the mighty Pacific division and on pace for 92 points or so , all positives.
