Seemed like you guys weee talking about moving them as in the present not a year and a half away but even then.. historicallly....Cup contending teams are close to the Cap... - Nuck4U
You'd have to ask Vantel what he was talking about (and hope it's part of the 10%). I was talking about moving them on their expiring contracts. |

So true, but hey it's all on AV...errr I mean WD, we have such a talent laden team. - Makita
Bad bounce.
The only bounces that would have changed our ability to score goals this season happened at the draft lottery . |

We're too soft. Get bounced of the puck to easy. The team looks better on paper but so far not getting the results. And hey...don't we want this? |

On his retaining 10% of what he reads .... lost cause ... but I still answered your point ... so odds are not there |

I am not sure what barattig means .
About two weeks ago Lefty said to you he is not going to respond to you because he just doesn't like you.
I have tried to be polite by saying I don't read all your responses but I don't like you either.
So I am going to try to ignore you also if you are okay with that.
Enjoy your time here but I am really not interested in engaging anymore

Lets put it this way, the odds are as good as us making the playoffs. |

I fully understand. They are not playing bad at all but not good enough to cost 14 mil for top line players.
I do hope they see what is best for the team and accept a move but if not they have earned the right to stay - VANTEL
A move to where? Who's got $14 mil in cap space?
To me it's a moot point. They still have game and their character is without question, but for various reasons they are among the least tradeable players in the league. |

Since I got back from the Philippines I've been taking it easy on woodpile visits but tonight I am higher than a Georgia pine. |

Would you give a pick and prospect if the cost 3 mil? |

Typical arrogant unapologetic response .... Burr deserves better ... so do other posters - Nuck4U
Tread carefully newbie, you are speaking to the Pastor. Burrows deserves a kick in the ass out of town
(frank)ing guy makes $4.5MM to score 3 goals a year. He will be fine |

Well their talent at the moment escapes me, who at this point is their talent after the 1st line? - Makita
Depends on what you view as talent.... but hockey people will say Granlund, Baertchi, Hanson, Sutter, Horvat, JV .... have skills and talent.... just no one is calling them goal scoring snipers .... same with top line too... |

A pick and a prospect each for 3 mil each? Probably, but would you take on a bad contract as well as retaining salary, seeing as we are talking hypotheticals in an undefined period of time. |

Even if we could move them we're still stuck with LE and his only goal was on us. |

I am not trying to move them but if I could
Once we see that we are nowhere near a playoff team would it be better to sell off assets? |

If a team could make it work they would be an amazing TDL acquisition. I still don't think we'd get much for them. To me it would be more of a symbolic move, the team admitting that they are finally turning the page, than a move to acquire assets to speed up the "retool" |

Yeah, we'll have LE for awhile. We'll probably have the Sedins for the duration of their contract as well. Just speaking in hypotheticals.
It's a new take on if we had a different coach we'd be awesome. |

That was a reward deal after playing so many years on the cheap to fit under the cap and cause for the Cup... well deserved ... he's now in the twilight you want to kick him for it .... whatever... sounds callous....
As for pointing out that was uncalled for to Vantel... I think he's got the balls to take it ... unless you believe he's lacking and just want him over for that box of wine you got stored |
