I don't think you can ask a player who is not physical to start playing physical. There's a skill in being an effective physical player. Running around and just hitting people will not get your team anywhere other than the penalty box.

There must be a better alternative out there than Larssen.

They won't play anyone that hits or throws someone out the way. They are so worried about getting the guys games for the expansion draft. Either Stecher or Larsen can be in the lineup at once. Tryamkin, Pedan would make the other teams forwards think again about entering the zone.

Same as forwards, No defence is scared that a Van forward is going to hit him after playing the puck, they know they will skate by 70% of the time.

Not talking about running around looking for a hit, but finishing your hit. Doesn't need to be a thundering hit, just to jar the D a bit.
