All in all pretty good game by the nucks, just cant get any luck around the net, it would be nice if this league would stop these back to backs and 3 in 4 nights it makes for way better hockey. The oilers schedule is a walk in the park compared to the nucks there set up for success and yet again the nucks get hammered with a brutal schedule, it seams like it gets worse every year. - Bettmanhatesus
I think we should have had a penalty shot with Gaunce. Damn NHL

canucks fans are terrible. :org:
10 years of being poop and Edmonton fans still showed up. Even Toronto fills their building. - manvanfan
Toronto has the population to sustain ....
Oil fan besides nothing better to do were hoping for a turnaround with all those 1OA and high draft picks for years.
Canuck fans have been told by hockey world this team is garbage and has nothing to look forward to at all.

They didn't play loose against he Oil but this is a fast and highly skilled team so that 1 goal against is hard to prevent .... really that works if Canucks score first and then could have shut the door for a counter. It didn't break that way. Playing with a lead has only happened once so far in this early season - Nuck4U
So basically your flipping a coin on how the game will turnout and with a non offensive team it's not 50/50
Canucks fan are going to love an experienced bo and guys like Brock ....a few game breakers with demko could be a good recipe |

Well not really the odds go down if they don't score first to play the shut down game.... the come back early start was a nice surprise but not sustainable.... why the losses have come now cause they are not scoring 1st and not at all now.... |

I want to take a long nap and wake up for the draft. - A_SteamingLombardi
This is exactly what many Canuck fans are doing .... they will wake for the draft see we don't have 1OA savior go back to sleep rinse and repeat ....
meantime Aqualinis fire everybody and sell the team to that Seattle guy.... he moves them south of the border no big deal for NHL. Nothing changes as the geographic location for the league is relatively the same with bigger market. Plus many people will still watch from Vancouver on TV and some will go to games in Seattle too. Win win for NHL. As a consolation Vancouver gets an AHL team to watch.... go fans ... go team |

This is not the kinda hockey Canucks fans want ... or deserve ....they are playing not to lose based on their roster or the coach .., id like to see them not worry about wins or losses and let bo, Sven, JV, etc be offensive ...seeing them score but losing would make fans happier than winning 2-1 or 1-0 |

Who said we wanted this .... you Brought up what type of game they should play to win and I said how that hasn't happened based on not scoring first.
Scoring is a luxury best reserved for the future ... |

stick breaks it should be called...McDavid got one against Calgary when his stick was barely touched
to be fair though its unlikely he would have scored anyway |

I feel like we could have the Canucks and flames sitting in 5th and 6th last nowhere near the lotto pick and we could get drunk and make fun of them both |

Life is sport, but sport is not life.
At the end of the day, it's just a game. I appreciate so many things about it, but in no way, shape or form will I get bent out of shape about it.
With the NFL I still get a little cheesed because there are only 16 games.....so when you start 1-4 it's nearly over. |

yes very true.
Also just because the seat was empty doesnt mean the ticket wasnt sold. There are a ton of corporate lower bowl seats purchased and tickets used to entertain clients ...if there's no business meetings they dont go. Just a reality in Van. |

Well said
Whose your NFL team ?
I think my comments before just came from past experience ...this Canucks team has more prospects than we did during the iggy end but they feel like they are still in that phase ...I agree with what vantel said earlier ...don't show up and force them to make changes |

Dolphins.
Yeah, the Canucks have some good prospects. I don't mind if they continue to build the pool for a bit as they really bottom out.
As a paying fan, these are some of the best times to go to games. If they continue to slide, you'll be able to get really good tickets for the price of nosebleeds midway through the season and watch the youth up close. |

Good point ...ticket prices will go down ...they are usually pretty good at home too
What's your take on jay ajayi ?
When are they going to draft a qb so they can put an NFL calibre qb in? |

Ajayi had great seasons in college, knee injury ( i think ) scared the scouts. The starting O-line played their first 2 games together last 2 games. Tannehill is alright, he's just overpaid. Again, he's playing a new system under another new coach.....3 O coordinators in 5 seasons.
I want to see him learn how to win and go from there.
Who do you cheer for? |

I haven't picked a team yet ..feels kinda weird but i got into the NFL 4/5 years ago and didn't want to pick a team that was already good or just poop ...but now I just want to let it happen
I think tannehil is not even close to the Answer in Miami ..he's like one step above Brock Osweiler ...he's more accurate but can't throw a deep ball ...maybe he's like a poor mans Alex smith
I like jay tho ...drafted him in one of my football pools hoping but couldn't wait thus long
