There is no scoring the canucks can trade for or sign in the off-season.

It's just not going to happen.

Did the stick actually break? If it did thats a blown call. Od course his intent is to eventually get the puck. But you can't slash and break a guys stick. That's if it actually broke.....

If not, well then its a solid D play.

It didn't brea, but the refs could of called a few plays. For both teams. Mcdavid was trip by Eric's body. It's a trip, even if the guy is sliding you can't do that, but what ever they let them play, and it wasn't bad calls. I thought.

McDavid is just a game changer...he made all the difference.

They have a lot more than McJesus, they should be competing hard for Cups in very short order. But there is no doubt that he is a superstar and he is only 19, imagine when he is in his prime years!

For sure, the ''special' players had to put up with a lot more abuse in those days compared to now. Remember the hits Scott Stevens used to dish out on a nightly basis. The game has changed a lot.

Seems like in games with no or 1 PP.... Sedins can't shine as much.
Larson has little impact.... he missed his one opportunity to score again on PP. So it's more there is promise there but not results. Stecher has moved the puck well but also hasn't found a way to get pucks on the net so far.... work in progress.... but there seems to be capabilities that can lead to improvement.

With the roster they have they have to play a shutdown game and hope for a pp goal or a few breaks

In A year or two I think that will change once some of the prospects come in

All in all pretty good game by the nucks, just cant get any luck around the net, it would be nice if this league would stop these back to backs and 3 in 4 nights it makes for way better hockey. The oilers schedule is a walk in the park compared to the nucks there set up for success and yet again the nucks get hammered with a brutal schedule, it seams like it gets worse every year.

A rebuilding team isn't all about winning and losing but how they perform .... they keep performing like this they will win more then they lose.

yes and aaron rome got booted out of the finals for one of those where Horton wasn't paying attention, if that was chara on hank nothing happens and the garden would be rocking.

Rogers arena will be pretty empty moving forward if this is the poop product the Canucks keep putting on the ice. Virtanen is hopeless, he's got no chance with Willie as coach.

They didn't play loose against he Oil but this is a fast and highly skilled team so that 1 goal against a s hard to prevent .... Canucks needed to score first and then could have shut the door for a counter...: it didn't break that way.... Playing with a lead has only happened once so far in this early season
