Didn't realize it was against the rules to score goals while getting assists.

I feel the same way. I like Giroux but also get confused with him sometimes. He's the captain and leader yet sometimes I feel he should bring more.

I don't know what it is. Maybe it's because I really don't get an emotional attachment to any player. I might like players but I feel all of them are mercenaries.

He may have also been fully on board with the deal.

White scoring the game winner on the softest goal you will ever see is about as predictable as the day is long.

I'd like him to score more goals, and I want to see more out of him this year. That said, if he scores 0 goals but sets up 92 this year like he's on pace to do, I'm okay with it.

John LeClair.
Jakub Voracek.
Wayne Simmonds.

And I'm getting tired of Tye McGinn, Matt Carle, and Braydon Coburn lighting us up constantly.

My only issue with Giroux, and also Jake at times, is he's pass first always. He used to be more aggressive with shooting the puck. At times I think he overthinks his shot or just looks for that perfect play rather than taking over the play himself and being selfish with the puck

Totally agree.

I think right now it's an issue with the whole team. They seem to be making one/two extra passes.

They needed to get back to simple ugly goals. Put the puck on net.

They do have 8 more goals than compared to the same games played last year.

Arizona 2-5-0 last place in the West. Guess who those 2 wins are against? Franking pathetic.

I honestly don't care if he doesn't score a goal as long as he is setting them up. he could have 0 goals and 90 assists and I would be quite happy. He is currently 11th in the league in scoring. Now I will say I would like to see him shooting more. he has 20 shots in 8 games.

I know it's a very unpopular sentiment, but I also think Claude Giroux should score goals. I don't know why you're all saying this would be bad. I think it would be good.

No one is saying its bad and obviously it would be great to have him score more but its not as tho he isn't picking up his points. Look at a guy like Adam Oates who had a 3 to 1 ratio in assists to goals. I would like to see G shoot more tho. He at times passing up on good scoring chances trying to make the perfect pass.

Obviously you missed my very smart point, so allow me to clarify: I'm just being a smartass, don't mind me.

Being sincere, I agree with you 100%. It's not really a new thing for Giroux, going cold in the goal column. He looks like he's pressing to get one in himself, he'll find his groove. I won't be too concerned as long as he keeps doing things to help them win.
