I want to throw out an interesting concept out there. Now, I know the moment I choose to not be on the same sugar high as others and be a little critical or objective towards players, the majority assume I hate this player. Can and point, I thought Brandon Manning sucked last year and if Del Zotto doesn't get hurt and MacDonald isn't over priced, I don't think Manning makes the team one year ago. At the very least, his chances are slim. Now I think he deserves all the credit he is getting. With all of this said, certain vets have had a slow start. Rookies have made mistakes. There is some clear rust with more players than others. So far I've read that Gudas is an upgrade in this area over player X. While a player like Brayden Schenn has had a slow start, Schenn's camp was really solid. My point is, I don't expect Gudas to step in and fix everything. I like Gudas. While reckless at times, I think he fills a need. Do I expect him to be an upgrade over Streit, Schultz and MacDonald? My answer is, I expect him to only be better than Mac who I think has been our weakest link in all three zones on defense.

She's an excellent actress. As for her having the same face, typically people only have one face. I didn't realize this was an assessment of acting ability, but she's a better actress than Kate Beckinsale, I would say, beautiful as they both are.

I'm not really going to disagree or agree, because this post seems to go a little bit all over.

But I just want to say that your intro (and you profile Location) is really, I'm not sure, I want to say juvenile. If you have a differing opinion than the majority, it's not people ganging up on you or making things personal, it's just that you have a different view. I'm not blaming you or trying to dump on you, but when you say stuff like that to preface a long post, people might take the "woe is me" approach and become combative from the start.

In the end, Manning has played well, solidified a spot, and the 3 vets have been the poorest. Which is the poorest is subjective.

Well the point is, I'm not expecting Radko Gudas to step in and be the answer to all our problems. I'm expecting the same rust most of our team has had so far. Streit has to be better. Giroux isn't expecting leading the charge. Schenn doesn't look like the same guy I saw in camp. I expect all of these to get better and a slow start by Gudas wouldn't shock me.

Like I said, nothing personal. I think juvenile is the wrong word; maybe overly defensive, not sure. Point is, when you take that approach from the beginning, and feel like you're going to be attacked by the majority, it's probably going to happen.

I actually do like what you post, but it seems like you're expecting a fight in this case with that introduction.

I think Radko Gudas will bring a needed physical element to his game but will have some trouble getting acclimated at first. I don't expect him to be any worse than AMac/Schulz/Streit overall after he's shaken the rust off after a game or so. I also don't think his return will be directly responsible for any prolonged winning or losing streak unless he becomes reckless and undisciplined.

As long as someone remembered to bring Radko in from the rain he shouldn't be too rusty hopefully.
