And that's where we disagree. We are not sippoaed to be better. Sorry but you're either (frank)ing with me or just simply have some unusually high expectations for no reason at all.

Some people think upgrading the goaltending and having some talented kids is enough for the Leffers to make the playoffs... it's true. I've read it in here. I swears.

Absolutely awful. Can someone call Shanny and tell him we have a replacement for Babs. Team Canada should also be phoned.

So they've played well. What's th problem?

I'd be pissed if they could be 0-5. That a bad sign. When your team leaves yoy feeling they should have won every game. You're doing something right.

On pace for 82 points.

Seems about right to me

Well they're basically one win and 4 losses...so 1-4. Not a huge difference.
And well no, if your team constantly leaves you feeling like they shoukd have won but always lose....they're not doing something right.
But its only 5 games, so im not worried.
The 15 game mark is a good judging point.
At least they're getting points

5 points after 5 games, exactly on target IMO
- fidopro

We are supposed to be better than last year, because supposedly we upgraded our goaltending....which was one of our biggest issues last season. As far as being better than last year, our offense has improved....we have players such and Matthews and Marner, along with Nylander...the offense is doing its part, the defense is still coming together, arguably better than last year...Andersen needs to wake up.

I'd rather have some blown leads, when the big 3 rookies are turning heads in a big way, than have them luck out a few wins but it's like oh Marner is invisible, Nylander and Matthews are struggling...I give a poop about these blown leads, the way the blue chip guys are playing is great, great news

Not bad for when you've played 80% of your games on the road so far. With a bunch of rookies on the team.

Agreed.

Probably not even next year. Although I'd be a nice surprise if they squeaked in next year.

Remember the last few years? Winning games we got outplayed in? That sucked. Cause you knew there was no hope. Just luck on random nights.

I was going to include next year. But I hate doing that without knowing what the roster will look like next year. Could be a big difference with all the contracts coming off the books.

They're showing their skill, which is what we want. We're excited for. Thats the part where they are leaving us with thinking they should have won.

The problems they're having are correctable with coaching and experience.

If we want to get Liljegren, we have to lose more in regulation.

I honestly don't think there's an argument to be made that this team isn't playing better then they did last year

(frank) dude, start watching the games instead of Twitter. He was solid tonight.

Most of those goals can be squarely blamed on the kids the last few nights: Carrick failing to clear it, Marner doing the same tonight, Rielly missing an assignment... the kids are being kids, you can't expect the goaltender to bail them out every night. That's not how good teams play and win.
