They were good game 1. He's been fine tonight too but chasing Chychrun around the net was stupid, even if the rush wasn't his fault (Schultz bad pinch + no one covering the d man)

That's where I deviate from the possession metrics, you know? They are very helpful and over a long period of time are certainly predictive and/or representative of performance, in the abstract.

But I don't discount the eye test when I can clearly see when a guy has elevated his game

I think, when watching in small segments, they can really throw you off if you don't use the eye test, too. Have to use both, to me
