So, again no Konecny or Provorov on the OT. But we got Streit (slower than molasses 3 on 3) and AMac, and then Simmer and Coots.

I don't understand these coaches and their personnel decisions half the time. I'm just surprised VDV and Schultz didn't get a shift too over them.

Figured. They were pissed about that stick hold, and rightfully so

3 pts out of 4 opening the season in back-to-back games against two tough teams on the road (Yotes are no joke. They went 5-1-2 in the preseason). We're missing 2 top D men and a top-line forward as well. A disappointing end to the game, but all-in-all a respectable start all things considered.

Again what is goalie interference? Dvorak makes contact with Mason in the blue paint right before Doan takes the shot. Provorov is tied up with Dvorak and not intentionally pushing him into the blue paint. I think the call should have been no goal and no penalty on Dvorak.

Yup, this is what's important. If they can go on and beat Chicago and come home with 5 out of a possible 6 points, it will be an extremely successful road trip.
