LOL, well sucks to be him.
Still hate losing prospects for nothing, even if his chances of being on the Bruins was slim. - dothedougie
He got passed by a few guys. Meh. Was there even a market for him? |

Doubtful, unless he was a minor part in a bigger package.
Czarnik, Heinen, Acciari, DeBrusk all passed him on the depth chart this year, easily, and i'd rather see them get a shot.

If Chairelli took a nothing prospect from STL how were the Bruins not offering Morrow or Griffith for that matter to take a chance on Yakupov? They had no problem essentially trading Boychuk for Connolly.
EDIT: Yes I know Boychuck was a cap casualty. I was at an open bar wedding when it happened mercifully. |

I guess Chiarelli really didnt leave on good terms. Neely and Sweeney dont want to deal with that ca ca head up in EDM.

Have to keep him for another year. They JUST got his special press box chair engraved and new cushion installed. |

It could have been a low risk/high reward scenario and may be for the Blues. What did you really have to lose there?
The new knock on him is he needs to play with skilled players. Everyone swears Krejci is some sort of wizard so it may have kickstarted both of them. But that's off the table.
