I bet he does, and I bet it's Dallas. They're about to sign Korpikowski because they lost Nichushkin and Jarnkrok for the season. - eichiefs9
Either way though, have a feeling this probably means at least one of Barzal/Beauvillier stay past the 9 games. |

Curious what the plan is, especially because we're pretty thin at RW.
Lee played there yesterday, so maybe he will be Johnny's RW? Or Beauvillier? - eichiefs9
Cappy and Garth must really be afraid for their jobs or they read my rant about PA on the 1st line? |

Could mean Barzal/Beauvillier are here for a bit or to stay. Could also mean Josh Ho-Sang gets a call back much sooner than we thought. |

Yeah i just clicked on your link, which surprisingly enough worked at my job. Usually everything gets blocked.
I guess PA (who looked like sh!t last night), wasnt doing it for them. I think Barzal should be with that line......speed and skill, with JT and Ladd. |

We all know Barzal is super talented, and Capuano keeps praising Beau saying he plays the game the right way. I'd love to see this team with young guys......they are hungry and their game shows it.
The fact is, they scored ZERO goals last night. Its pre season, but not a good way to head into the season. You cant win if you dont score. |

Outside of Bailey being cut, this is exactly what needed to happen and a great message to send to the rest of the team. |

We'll never know, but im curious if they ask JT what he thinks about who he's playing with. He just came back from playing with the leagues Elite at worlds, and then comes back to play with a recycled PA. I wonder if he was like yeah no thanks.....give me a real talent. |

I agree.......last night Bailey was playing with Barzal and Beau, and when they lost the puck Bailey was the first one backchecking. He knows thats his only way on this team . They will never cut him. |

#Isles signed Parenteau in hopes of rekindling magic with JT. Only played last night together but org clearly feels better options on roster - eichiefs9

Glad that Phucking bargain experiment is over. Thought it was a joke from the beginning. |

That was the best line last night if you can call any of that performance the best |

Bailey is going to start on the first line now. He's a "veteran," has experience at the off wing, and has played with Tavares before |

Eh...Kulemin would have been another option. I'm not crazy about Chimera on the second line, where he's been slotted in the last few times I've seen him. Losing Kulemin would allow Chimera to go to the fourth line where he should be and open up a second-line spot for one of the kids.
I guess you're eating a lot more money that way, though...someone will probably claim PA. |

Barzal to wing Barzal to wing Barzal to wing - Upstate_isles
There could be a ton of options. Lee played RW last night, if they were happy with his game it could be him. Beauvillier can play any one of the 3 forward positions. Barzal is a right shot, but by most of Staple's comments it sounds like they want to keep him at center. If Barzal is going to play 2C then it could be Strome moving up there in the hopes that he gets his act together playing with JT.
Or as Staple pointed out, maybe Ho Sang comes back quicker than expected. He's a RH RW. |

Kulemin could have been an option. I'm just floored the Isles made a professional move in cutting PA who they just signed. I still like Chimera with Cal and Casey as a true checking line. |

I just like that PA will not be on the 1st line. I can understand the team wanting Barzal to play C. Maybe Strome gets another shot at RW. Maybe the Isles try internal options first and then go to the trade route quickly. You really get the sense with cutting PA that Garth is not playing and moves will be made. |

And creativity, JT and Ladd are finishers so it makes sense. Let the kid play! Give him 9 games to sink or swim.
Kid played wing on Canada's WJ team so.... |
