His size is his biggest downside. Probably 99% why he wasn't drafted. He had a good period, he looks good. - LeftCoaster

Your boy Johnny was apparently too small ...marner too ...the league isn't what it used to be where you had to be above 6' and over 200lbs |

Krug get too much love. I think within two years people might be comparing small players to Stecher. |

I think for the most part it's easier for a forward as you dictate the play. As a defender, covering a guy that's 6'3 225 in front of the net becomes a real challenge when you are undersized. |

3 years in a row with 40 points ...not bad to start your career for a short dude |

Yup the game is changing but your skill and compete level has to be a extremely high if your that size. There's always been small forwards who were really good, but not a ton of dmen like Greg Hawgood. |

I like your white flying skate jersey. A little surprised you're bald and wear glasses though. |

Yeah you are right there ...I think smaller D men just have to be pp specialist and either 2nd or 3rd pairing guys ...still very useful to have though |

Barrie, Gostisbehere etc.
As long as 'they' can continue to possess the puck, drive offense and thus negate defense, the small, quick guys can be extremely effective.
Stretcher has looked good.
Even if he keeps it up, i still don't see him beating out the horde though |

Very useful on the PP, aside from that they become a matchup problem IMO. Sometimes even the 4th line can give them problems. Either way, not a plug and play dman by any means ( not saying Stetcher in particular) . |

Very weird
Hutton scores and referees are like "How did the puck get in the net?"
