100% agree. If they're going to do that, then lets just get rid of Halak too and have Berube/Poulin tandem. You know Halak is going to miss games due to injury. - Isleshockeyman
Holy crap. Maybe he wanted to drive through for a cup of coffee. Good thing nobody was killed. I can only imagine that there were a lot of people waiting for trains at that time of the morning.

Mass Casualties......train went full steam ahead into Hoboken train station.
Edit : I dont think they know how many injured......but originally they said mass casualties on the news. Either way its horrific...

Jesus. I would guess(hope) mechanical failure and not a lunatic driver. - Isleshockeyman
Yeah i dont know if they know anything........im just wondering how this can even happen. Im pretty sure theres an emergency break on the tracks in case the conductor either has a heart attack or gets hijacked. So sad.

Seeing as I'm from NJ and know several people who use that station, and it was clear that chiefs was making fun of Isleshockeyman, I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch, bud

Is it sad and tragic? Most definitely! That doesn't mean that we should walk around with our heads down in silent prayer the entire day and not have a chuckle here or there at my expense. No. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers and hope for all to make a full and speedy recovery. At the same time understand that life still goes on.

How a propos that no matter what, there's an argument. I posted that in case someone didnt know and had family/friends (like most of us) who commute from NJ. I personally wouldnt make a joke 15 min after something so horrific, but hey thats me. I appreciate your explanation and defense of your hockeybuzz pal, but lets just agree to disagree.
Putting that aside for a minute, Greiss is only making $1.5M...I don't really see any value in moving him. His play last year + the fact that moving him doesn't really equate to any savings means he's probably going to stick. I'm fine with the 3-headed goalie-monster again, it's not like it was a problem (in the standings) last season. - eichiefs9
if you keep a third goalie you can't keep 3 extra skaters. Unless snow decides to hide extra players on IR again this year to skirt the waiver rules, Berube's going down to the ahl through waivers. If Pulock and Barzal both make the roster there simply isn't room for everyone and I'd rather lose Berube than Mayfield.
