Not exactly in mid season scoring form. I think the fact that Raffl looks like a true first line player out there, shows the level of opposition.

On another matter, I don't think there is any doubt that Konecny is going to be a hell of a player for the Flyers. Just not this year.

You're probably right about Konecny's chances this year, but with Schenn suspended for the first 3 games, I could see the kid maybe getting a 3 game shot.

He's not getting any bigger realistically. 185 lbs at 5'9" is a good weight. I don't buy they can use the "he's not physically ready" reason. All-around game and maturity? Maybe.

I could see Hexy doing it only because of the situation, especially if they make it clear to Konecny that it's only until Schenn returns

What's going to be exciting is it's obvious some of the big boy prospects have earned to be tried out with the regulars over the last few preseason games.

Mike Keenan was on Hockey Central at Noon and dropped some serious stories about Hextall, Snider and a major shocker about Clarke

The grey area is what exactly constitutes blowing the doors of the hinges in hextall's mind. Is the bar set at a reasonable level or is he expecting the blue chip guys to get several points and all + and no turnovers every game they play in?
