A member of the Winnipeg media threw out a measuring stick trade of Trouba to Flyers for Provorov. More would be involved but he said that is basically in line with what Winnipeg is looking for.

Then he doesn't get traded, and Winnipeg is stuck with their malcontent. He's just not worth a top 10 or 15 NHL prospect.
Trouba is the best player in the deal. Edmonton still gets an up and coming Armia who showed he can play at this level. He could easily be compared to Yakupov in the potential department. Copp is a solid 3rd, 4th line centre who can kill penalties and can move up and down the line-up as needed. Stuart and Stafford are both serviceable and can provide leadership and both are close to the end of their deals for salary cap purposes both are useful and a second round pick is a major haul.
Nurse is unproven, Yakupov has not developed and Pulijarvi is still an unknown.
Great deal for Edmonton in my opinion.

Pulju carries the most value of anything listed there.
Laine and Trouba played on World Cup teams. None of the players you send back have not. In my deal Trouba was the only player that played for a World Cup team.
You my friend need to re-evaluate your deal.

There was a fair bit of debate as to who goes second or third in the draft, Laine or Pulju, for a while. They're pretty close in terms of prospects.
I do agree with you that we would probably have to take on more salary to even the deal out. Mark Fayne may be the bitter pill Jets fans have to swallow in order to make my trade proposal a reality.

What you'd have to do is drop the idea of getting puljujarvi.
